We are / They are は「私たち・彼らは〜です」を表す
要点文法の意味
We are / They are は、複数の人やものについて「〜です」を伝える形
we / they のような代名詞、the dogs / my parents のような複数名詞、どちらも are の後ろに名詞・形容詞・場所を続けます。
文法の形
肯定・否定・疑問の3つの形があります。
肯定
We / They are (We're / They're) + 名詞のまとまり / 形容詞 / 場所
We are good friends.
否定
We / They are not (aren't) + 名詞のまとまり / 形容詞 / 場所
We aren't ready.
疑問
Are we / they + 名詞のまとまり / 形容詞 / 場所?

文法のルール

we / they / 複数名詞には are を使う。is は使わない。
We is students.

We は複数主語なので are を使います。is は単数主語（he/she/it）のときに使います。

They're は They are の短縮形。are を重ねない。

They're は They are の短縮形なので、are を重複させません。

疑問文は are を主語の前に出す。do は使わない。
