行き先か起点か、外から中か中から外かで選びます。
to
行き先（〜へ）— go to school
from起点（〜から）— come from Japan
into外から中へ — walk into the room
out of中から外へ — get out of the car

文法のルール

home / here / there はそれ自体が方向を表す語。to は付けない。
I go to home every day.
I go home every day.
home / here / there はそれだけで「家へ／ここへ／そこへ」という方向を表す言葉なので、前置詞 to を付ける必要はありません。

into は to と重ねない。
She walked to into the room.
She walked into the room.
「外から中へ入る動き」は into だけで表します。to と into を重ねる必要はありません。

out of は from と重ねない。
He came from out of the building.
He came out of the building.
「建物の中から外へ出る」は came out of the building と表すのが基本です。中学英語では from out of と重ねず、out of だけで表します。
